Alexander Muhm to become new Head of SBB Real Estate.

As of 1 January 2019, Alexander Muhm will become a member of the SBB Management Board and Head of SBB Real Estate. Previously a member of the Management Board of SBB Real Estate, he will succeed Jürg Stöckli. At the start of 2018, Mr Stöckli decided to leave SBB after over eight years on the Management Board and take his career in a new direction. Susanne Zenker will replace Alexander Muhm as Head of Development and member of the Management Board of SBB Real Estate.

The lease agreement with Valora for kiosk spaces and other lease agreements for convenience spaces in SBB train stations are due to expire at the end of 2020 and calls for tenders for new lease agreements are now live on sogc.ch and sbb.ch/en/real-estate.

APG|SGA erhält Zuschlag für Vermarktung von Wer-beflächen in Bahnhöfen und Zügen.

Die SBB hat der APG|SGA den Zuschlag als Partnerin für die Vermarktung der Fremdwerbeflächen erteilt. Ab 1. Januar 2019 erhält die APG|SGA einen neuen Vertrag für sämtliche Werbeflächen in den Bahnhöfen und Zügen.

SBB invites tenders for the marketing of its third-party advertising spaces for 2019.

All rental agreements relating to SBB Real Estate third-party advertisement will expire at the end of 2018 after a 10-year contract with APG SGA and a new contract is being put out to tender. The SBB Passenger Traffic division also has the option to integrate its third-party advertising spaces into the calls for tenders.

"Porta del Ticino" gets its official opening.

Bellinzona station was officially opened on the 14th of October in the presence of SBB CEO Andreas Meyer, Mayor of Bellinzona Mario Branda and Cantonal Councillor Claudio Zali, marking the completion of extensive modernisation and expansion work costing CHF 36 million. The "Porta del Ticino" offers customers an attractive range of shops and services boasting more space and more light. The station is now all set for when the Gotthard Base Tunnel is placed in service on 11 December.
